The continuance of this position is dependent upon grant funding. Under the guidance of the Director of TRIO TS, this position supports the daily operation of the TS program. The position requires the ability to manage a case load of approximately 250 low-income, disadvantaged secondary students; provide academic support services that motivate and prepare students for enrollment into a post-secondary education program; and to meet the grant¿s retention, secondary graduation and post-secondary enrollment and completion objectives.Duties and Responsibilities
This is an eleven (11) month per year federally grant funded, full-time professional/technical exempt position. The salary is $43,148.52 - $43,148.52 (DOQ/DOE) annually depending on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. The state of Washington provides a comprehensive benefits package for state employees. The position may participate in the TIAA/CREF retirement system.
