Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for our client a Texas Eminent Domain Law Firm. This position is 100% in their office located in Dallas,
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a minimum of 2 years' legal OR title examiners experience
Strong typing skills
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Westlaw, Adobe
Excellent drafting and proofing skills a must
DUTIES:
Keep calendars and manage schedules/deadlines for two lawyers
File and keep organized lawyers' working files and firm's client files (both hard copies and electronic files)
File pleadings, other documents with courts
File, track, and organize expert materials during and after cases
Travel to and inspect real estate properties with lawyers
Attend meetings with lawyers and take detailed notes
Proofread, draft, revise, and edit documents
Manage all outgoing and incoming correspondence
Answer phone and receive guests/clients
Make copies, fax, scan
Manage office, orders supplies
