Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities for assigned product areas through research, strategic planning and implementation. Responsible for achievement of various business objectives to include strategic, tactical projects and financial metrics.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
Manages overall profitability of complex product line (large dollar volume, major product development).
Responsible for the development, implementation and control of marketing programs to maintain and increase market share and profits.
Develops and administers launch plans for new or revised products, creates and administers strategies for increasing market share of existing products, and assists in retirement and communication planning for product decommissioning.
Evaluates performance of marketing initiatives and revises strategy in response.
Participates in planning of sales promotions or other special events, such as conferences, trade shows, or user meetings.
Designs and implements product group marketing strategies to support our Hospital care and Outpatient market sales teams.
Manages all operational aspects of the IV Fluid Therapy product line, including forecasting, inventory, backorders/supply chain needs along with customer and sales communications.
Monitors product incident reports and helps direct corrective activities and communications as needed.
Coordinates and assists with sales training programs as needed to support the portfolio.
Evaluates product improvements and line extension with strong business case development and understanding of market needs and opportunities. Executes on market research when needed.
Develops and maintains unit, revenue and profitability forecasts, along with monthly reporting for product group including a strategic 5-year plan.

Requires advanced knowledge of professional field and industry. Influences the development of and drives the application of principles, theories, concepts. Determines best course of action.
Computer literacy (SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc) with very strong financial and analytical skills to manage and analyze large data sets.
Works under general supervision. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. May periodically assist in orienting, training, assigning & checking the work of other peers.
Judgement is required in resolving complex problems based on experience.
Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management.
Strong communication skills, driving results through cross-functional collaboration.
