Job Description:

The Individual and Family Plans (IFP) Sales Enablement Sr. Manager is responsible for supporting sales and distribution though the development, delivery and management of our sales partnerships and assets that drive revenue. The Sr. Manager leads a newly established team that provides program management, data governance, and business ownership of sales assets and partnership relationships. The Sr. Manager is accountable for the operations of our platforms, ongoing maintenance, and definition and delivery of solutions to meet current and emerging business needs. The sales assets include several quoting and enrollment engines, Salesforce.com, Cigna for Brokers, and our call center technology. This leader will be a key contributor to expanding our external partnerships and managing the ongoing operations of those vendor relationships. Working closely with our Digital Strategy Sr. Advisor, this leader will advocate for and deliver critical projects that align with our sales goals. This leader has proven leadership skills, drives collaboration and transparency, and is committed to building talent and skills across the team.

Responsibilities:


  • Providing leadership to a newly formed team while establishing team cadences and best practices to deliver value to our stakeholders, customers, and brokers.

  • Business ownership of Sales assets, platforms, and partnerships. Accountable for operations, contracts, and ongoing improvements.

  • Identify opportunities to streamlining operations and identifying areas for improvements and automation.

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that drive incremental improvements as well as long-term strategic goals.

  • Vendor management from contract through ongoing operations of our sales partnerships for both medical and dental.

  • Lead team responsible for data governance, detailed requirements and design, business process improvements and project management.

  • Building cross-functional relationships that drive end to end solutions, collaboration, and ensure sales and distribution goals align with up-stream and down-stream processes.

  • Collaborating with the Sales Operations and Distribution leadership teams, align talent and resources to deliver on key roadmap initiatives.

  • Advocate for sales and distribution portfolio projects ensuring alignment to goals and business value is understood.

  • Business ownership of Salesforce.com instance and responsible for building up internal talent to support this key platform.

  • Creates reporting as needed to monitor and optimize sales activities.

Required Qualifications:


  • Prior health insurance experience with a focus on sales and distribution.

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 7+ years of related work experience with progressive responsibilities.

  • Strong demonstrated leadership skills with direct and matrixed management experience.

  • 5+ years experienced driving and delivering IT projects, digital technology, telephony technology, and Salesforce CRM.

  • 5+ years experience and demonstrated skill in cross-functional program management, stakeholder engagement, and business process optimization.

  • Prior experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.

  • A bility to grasp the big picture, champion the vision, chart a course of action and deliver results. Strong critical thinking skills.

  • Natural collaborator and influencer, with exceptional people skills. Able to influence without authority. Focused on building and maintaining key relationships to get things done

  • Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, both within and outside the business. Encourages discussion.

Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience within individual ACA Health insurance.

  • In-depth experience delivering technology projects, with agile experience.

  • Direct experience and management of a Salesforce.com platform.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 118,200 - 197,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
