Salary Range: $19.04 - $28.56 Hourly

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At One Call, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $19.04 - $28.56 Hourly

  • JOB SUMMARY:



    One Call is a leader in ancillary services for the workers' compensation industry. We make it easier for injured workers to receive the care they need when they need it by coordinating care that incorporates technology and leads to an enhanced client experience.


    As the Communications and Engagement Coordinator, you will play a key role by assisting in the development of internal communication and engagement strategies and programs to inform, engage, and connect colleagues to our mission and values. You will work as part of the Communications & Engagement team and play a critical role in the development of compelling and engaging content for our internal communication channels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for communications, storytelling, social and digital media, and employee engagement.




    GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



    This position reports directly to the Senior Communications and Engagement Manager and is housed within the People Team. The Communications and Engagement Coordinator will assist in executing a variety of communications, culture and engagement objectives, including, but not limited to:




    • Write and edit engaging and informative content for internal communications, including newsletters, announcements, awareness and holiday messages, culture-building messages, enterprise initiatives and other areas of strategic importance as directed by the Sr. Communications and Engagement Manager.

    • Support activities and organize internal events that promote employee engagement and culture - including, but not limited to, department and enterprise award programs, quarterly town halls, holiday celebrations and colleague appreciation events through content generation and information distribution.

    • Support the day-to-day content calendar for the enterprise intranet, Connect. This includes editing and uploading articles and events to the content management system (CMS) and ensuring messages align with brand standards.

    • Create engaging graphics utilizing Canva to support internal communication messaging.

    In addition to the above duties, the Communications and Engagement Coordinator would also be responsible for:




    • Becoming knowledgeable of the One Call brand and ensuring brand guidelines are met across all internal communication channels.

    • Serve as an expert user of the company's intranet - Connect. This includes handling day-to-day content publishing for our colleague intranet site, creating additional departmental pages as needed, and completing regular audits throughout the site to ensure content meets brand standards.

    • Publishing weekly colleague newsletters based off new information posted to the company's intranet site.

    • Monitoring the internal social wall to ensure messaging aligns with our values.

    • Publishing engaging content to encourage employee engagement on the social wall.

    • Maintaining and updating the enterprise calendar.





  • EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:






    • Ability to successfully create concise and compelling content and willing to adopt AP writing style.

    • Possess passion for storytelling that draws people in, such as incorporating unique human-interest angles.

    • Comfortable cultivating relationships with colleagues across the organization.

    • Demonstrate agility by learning and understanding the workers' compensation industry while successfully managing multiple writing assignments/deadlines at one time.

    • Please note: A writing sample will be required as part of the recruitment processes.

    • At least 1 year of related experience required.





  • GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:






    • Excellent writer and editor with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality work.

    • Ability to extract information from a conversation to craft compelling articles featuring our colleagues.

    • Strong problem solving, project management, and time management skills.

    • Self-starter: ability to take an assignment with broad objectives and complete independently.

    • Proficient use of Microsoft 365 programs such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.

    • Experience using CRM or CMS (specifically the Unily platform) a plus.

    • Experience using Canva a plus.

    • Team player with a desire to collaborate and be an active, contributing member of a growing team.





    PHYSICAL/EMOTIONAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:




    • This position will be hired as a remote position with the need to come into the Jacksonville, FL office up to once a week or additional timeframes when needed for internal events.

    • This job is primarily sedentary and may involve repetitive motions.
