Registered Nurse—PICU

Full Time Permanent Night Shift – 3-12 hours

We are looking for an RN with at least 1-year inpatient critical care experience

Responsibilities:

• Strong assessment skills and demonstrate critical care thinking


• Evaluates and revises the plan of care based on evolving needs.


• Provides comprehensive, individualized teaching based on identified learning needs of families


• Management of Chest Tubes, Feeding Tubes, High Flow Oxygen, Nasal Cannulas, Tracheostomies, Ventilators, Central Lines, IV Medications • Advanced modalities such as ECMO and CRRT

Qualifications:

• BSN in Nursing


• Current TX Nurse license


• TX resident


• At least 1 year job inpatient critical care experience


• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing


• BLS/PALS from the American Heart Association


• Must be able to pass a drug screen
