Physical Requirements The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs.; occasionally standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 lbs.; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and performing tasks with regular repetitive motions (such as typing); occasionally interacting with combative/violent people or patients; and occasional job-related travel (less than 10% of time).
Shift Monday through Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm.

This is a hybrid position.
Job Summary The Research Compliance Manager will develop, regularly assess and oversee the Corporate Compliance plan related to clinical research to ensure compliance with significant laws and regulations, including the False Claims Act and HIPAA. This role will serve as the primary contact in the Office of Corporate Compliance for all corporate compliance issues and concerns related to clinical research, partnering with other UK/UK HealthCare stakeholders to promote corporate compliance in the area of clinical research. The Research Compliance Manager will be responsible for preparing and executing an annual corporate compliance risk assessment and work plan related to clinical research, ensuring effectiveness of compliance activity with quality processes, documentation, and data in accordance with the guidance for effective compliance programs issued by the HHS Office of Inspector General and the U.S. Department of Justice.

This is a hybrid position.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Knowledge of complex requirements and regulations; high ethical standards; ability to work in a team-based collaborative environment; high-level communications; ability to think creatively; Microsoft Office/Excel proficiency.

Preferred Education/Experience Master’s Degree; 5 years of experience in a health care and/or pharmacy setting; strong written and verbal communication; experience with compliance and/or privacy issues preferred.
