Primary Role



Responsible for successfully coordinating, communicating, monitoring and supporting integration activities in alignment with corporate and business development goals.
Ensure acquisition integrations comply with all applicable company and regulatory policies, procedures and requirements.
Perform additional duties as requested or required to support the business development activities of the company.




Key Accountabilities




  • Project Management
    • Lead acquisition integration teams, including state and functional leaders, to ensure smooth integration of new acquisitions.
    • Ensure all relevant deal documentation is accurate and available to acquisition integration team members, as required.
    • Coordinate and lead regular integration progress meetings.
    • Participate, as necessary, in acquisition data integration process.
    • Coordinate post-close lessons learned sessions.
    • Participate in other post-close activities included, but not limited to, annual integration lookback reviews.
  • Communication
    • Report progress and issues to the appropriate teams and management, as needed.
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with key staff involved in acquisition integrations.
    • Proactively identify and escalate risks that may impact integration timelines, budgets or goals.
    • Promote knowledge sharing and best practices throughout the business.
  • Acquisition Integration Process Improvement
    • As a member of the Acquisitions Integrations Group, participate in various projects designed to improve the acquisition integrations process.




Knowledge/Skills




  • Strong project management skills (e.g. planning, organizing, directing, monitoring and reporting on integration activities).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to support several integrations simultaneously.
  • Ability to think logically and analytically.
  • Ability to work both individually and within a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skills (ie. Presentation, listening, report writing).
  • Proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Computer literacy. Competent in the use of word processing, spreadsheets, flow-charting, project scheduling.
  • Working knowledge of applicable company procedures, state and federal regulations, utility tariffs and/or operations.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and/or customer billing practices a plus.




Experience/Education




  • Bachelor's degree or relevant job-related equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of business development, project management and/or operations experience.
