As a Cybersecurity Analyst on the Security Threat Monitoring team, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our customers, associates, business partners, and brand from cybersecurity threats.

We require someone with robust analytical capabilities, adept at navigating diverse datasets to unearth insights and address investigative queries. However, that's just the beginning. By joining us, you'll embark on a journey of skill enhancement, tool discovery, and limitless growth prospects.

Responsibilities


  • Continuously monitor security alerts from various sources, such as network-based systems, host-based systems, and security information and event management (SIEM). Analyze these events to identify potential security incidents and threats.

  • Guarantee adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) by promptly resolving security alerts within specified timelines.

  • Identify and report potential cyber threats that could affect the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of our information resources.

  • Engage in ongoing evaluation and refinement of security monitoring protocols to bolster effectiveness. Proactively pinpoint areas ripe for enhancement, proffer viable solutions, and enact industry-best practices to fortify the organization's security stance.

  • Implement automation strategies to optimize operational efficiency by reducing manual effort and streamlining repetitive tasks.

  • Uphold meticulous documentation of security alerts, ensuring precision and comprehensiveness in recording findings and subsequent actions implemented.

  • Remain abreast of the most current security threats, vulnerabilities, and advanced attack methodologies.

  • Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure continuous 24x7 threat detection coverage.


  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, a related analytical field, or have equivalent experience.

  • Basic computer knowledge and cybersecurity skills

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of security risks and threats.

  • Communication skills: Demonstrate basic communication skills both verbally and in writing.


  • 1-2 years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, Forensic Analysis, Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing, Network Security, or Platform Security.

  • CompTIA Security +.
