Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. This is a critical role that will manage all HR functions for our 45 office employees and 120 field employees, totaling 165 employees. As a one-person HR department, you will be responsible for a wide range of HR activities, including ccompliance, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and more. This role would be fully onsite in Bloomington and is a direct hire opportunity with FULL benefits.




Key Responsibilities:




  • Employee Relations:

    • Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and issues.

    • Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns in a timely manner.




  • Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements.




  • Benefits Administration:

    • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.

    • Conduct benefits orientation and assist employees with benefits-related questions




  • Performance Management:

    • Develop and implement performance management systems.

    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.




  • Training and Development:

    • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.

    • Coordinate and deliver training sessions as needed.




  • Recruitment and Onboarding:

    • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring.

    • Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company.




  • HR Policy Development:

    • Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.

    • Ensure policies are communicated effectively to all employees.




  • HR Administration:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.

    • Manage HR-related documentation and reporting.




Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR manager role. Must have relatable industry experience!

  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
