Pharmacy Technician needed for Insurance benefits organization. This is a part-time, on-site role in Fresno with the following duties:


• Receives calls from pharmacies, clients, and members and provides the requested information or support while following company policies and procedures for the release of information


• Troubleshoots pharmacy claims submission and documents calls in the ticketing system


• Understanding of pharmacy benefit plans and how to access the plan information, as well as how to communicate this information to members accurately


• Escalates incoming customer service calls when needed to the appropriate party for resolution


• Assist with keeping the pharmacy outreach queues up to date


• Cross-department support with projects as needed


• Takes after-hours calls on rotation with other team members.


• Peer review of Member Services functions; Direct member reimbursements, ID cards, member letters, etc.


• Processing of manual pharmacy claim submissions


• Assist with claim testing during a new group implementation



Qualifications and Education Requirements



• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required


• Pharmacy technician license or certification required


• PTCB Certification required


• Proficient in MS Office Suites - Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams


• Excellent communication skills


• Excellent customer service skills to maintain IPM's high standard of member service


• Adaptable and work well in a fast-paced environment
