Staff Accountant Needed here in Boca Raton



Job Duties:

• Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information.


• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable fuctions.


• Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports.


• Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files as well as reconciling accounts.


• Accounts Payable - prepare payments by accruing expenses.


• Assist in Month end Close process, enter Journal Entries


• Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.


• Provide accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information.


• Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.


• Cash flow statements, Balance sheet reconciliation, financial statement preparation


• Other projects as needed.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• High degree of attention to detail and multi-tasking


• Strong time management and organizational skills


• Ownership and pride in work product


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Accounting


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance is preferred


• 3+ years of experience with General staff accounting
