Job Description:

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an Engagement Coordinator to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role will be integral in planning and executing blood drive events, managing donor relationships, and ensuring our organization meets and exceeds collection goals. This is a Temp-Perm position!


This is a Full-Time, HYBRID position! Hours will be Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-4:30PM. MUST be open to work some evenings and weekends as event arise - NO OVERTIME hours! If you are working after hours, you will adjust your weekday schedule accordingly so as not to exceed 40 hours per week! PAY will be $22/hr! Mileage paid! Drive time reimbursed as applicable!



Job Duties:



  • Assist in booking and planning blood drive events for an assigned territory

  • Work closely with management to meet and exceed the collection goals and inventory needs of the organization

  • Build and maintain relationships within the territory for potential sponsorships

  • Support blood drive coordinators with planning, marketing, and advertising tools, and manage donor appointments

  • Communicate effectively with donor chairpersons and donor groups before, during, and after blood drive events

  • Confirm preliminary blood drive details and logistics with blood drive sponsor groups

  • Encourage creative and successful campaigns to increase donor participation at blood drives

  • Reschedule existing blood drives and exhibit teamwork within division to ensure divisional goal is met

  • Provide superior customer service to blood donors, blood donor groups, internal and external customers

  • Attend health fairs and community/marketing events to educate the community and promote blood drives.





Job Requirements:





  • Excellent customer service required

  • Public speaking ability to sell to all groups in the community by carrying our message of community service and the necessity of participation and support

  • Experience with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Valid Driver's License with no major infractions and dependable transportation

  • Ability to communicate effectively, tactfully, and courteously to patrons, donors, sponsors, and co-workers

  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills

  • Strong computer skills

  • Ability to work with all levels and in a diverse work environment

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, management, and peers
