Kimberly-Clark is looking for an ambitious, self-driven and talented individual to lead our Lean Capabilities for Enterprise Supply Chain. This role is accountable for improving organizational effectiveness and is recognized as a digital & analytical skill expert with experience in driving business impact initiatives across multiple areas. They work with an extended team to provide process, tools, methods, and business transformation practices across the organization. The Black Belt Expert will ensure alignment of initiatives to the vertical/functional strategic priorities and are expected to drive change, solve business process challenges and generate business impact by leading high impact lean six sigma projects.






Role Accountabilities



  • Collaborate with segment leaders to understand strategic business objectives to understand where there are gaps and create a prioritized road map to address improvement opportunities where objectives/strategies are not being achieved.

  • Engages champions, process owners, team members and stakeholders to deliver performance improvement using Lean Six Sigma tools, methods and concepts, while providing leadership and advice on these technical areas.

  • Guides the organization through a structured process that deals with resources, decision-making, resistance identification and resolution, conflict management, skills enhancement, organizational development, metrics and performance results, coaching, mentoring and behavioral change.

  • Coaches and mentors' others through curriculum development, Champion engagements, charter development, best practice diffusion, benchmarking, financial reporting and other duties to enable program success.

  • Leads a portfolio of Lean Six Sigma DMAIC projects and/or programs to deliver business results including but not limited to cost reduction, cash flow improvement, revenue enhancement, defect reduction, end-to-end process transformation and execution of business strategies. Creates and leads the transformation glidepaths to support projects.

  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives and develop appropriate countermeasures as needed.

  • Manages stakeholder adoption/change activities through project management tools across process, organizational design and technologies.

  • Provides analytical and conceptual direction to project team members throughout the life of the project, ensuring alignment and value delivery.






Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in business, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, management, finance, accounting, industrial technology or other related field.

  • At least 10 years of experience working directly with six sigma tools and methods in a LEAN manufacturing environment.

  • Master Black Belt certification

  • Minimum 5 years' work as a Master Black Belt.

  • Experience leading and creating high-performing teams and championing change.

  • Broad knowledge and application experience with LEAN, process improvement, structured problem solving, TQM tools and methods.

  • Strategic business acumen and deployment: taking creative action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a strategic systematic approach to decision-making.

  • Prior Project management or Transformation experience with relevant experience in process excellence

  • Able to communicate effectively across a heavily networked organization, including senior leader.

  • Evidence of successfully identifying, leading and managing high impact improvement projects both operationally and organizationally.

  • Occasional global travel may be required to support the business (up to 25%)
