Responsibilities:

- Responsible for performing tasks that utilize a lift truck including properly transporting carpet/yarn.

- Responsible for performing pre-shift daily inspection.

- Expected to follow all safety procedures for the job duties assigned.

- Responsible for loading/unloading elevated bins and lifting/moving objects.

- Responsible for maintaining all housekeeping items and follow all housekeeping procedures associated with the position.

- Responsible for Placing recycle materials in correct containers

- Responsible for all yarn transactions, greige roll transactions, and movement of yarn/raw materials both internally and between facilities through use of AS400.

- Responsible for movement of raw materials throughout the facility both physically and systematically.

- Responsible for returning yarn, primary, and other raw materials to dedicated bin locations.

- Responsible for entering production and yellow jacket operations.

- Responsible for loading/unloading and shipping/receiving trailers.


Education/Knowledge/Experience:

- Lift truck experience preferred.

- Basic English grammar and math skills required.

- Ability to be an effective team member.

- Ability to communicate effectively.
