JOB SUMMARY

Provides support for the user community and development team in the design, development, configuration and testing of Medline’s Logistics Systems which include: Warehouse Management, Transportation Management, and Labor Management Systems.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.

Assign and monitor tasks for the Logistics Run Support team.

Ensure timely escalation of unresolved issues to appropriate levels of management for further action and resolution.

Coordinate and facilitate bridge calls with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues impacting box movement.

Analyze data and generate reports to assess team performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop a deep understanding of logistics systems, processes, and technologies to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance evaluations to identify training needs and opportunities for skill development.

Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements.

Work closely with Build teams on solutions for new projects and enhancements.

Create workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensures issues are resolved in a timely fashion.

Interface with key internal users and all levels of the organization to understand and document development needs as well as ensure client needs are met in an accordance with the SLA.

Participate in the development of metrics, KPI’s, and processes specific to the Logistics Systems Support Team.

Monitor established metrics and KPI’s, performs ticket and call quality reviews.

Mentor, advice and lead team members in their journey to best support Medline employee’s and customers.

Address staffing challenges and contribute to the team’s success by assisting with ticket resolution.

Qualifications - External

Education:

Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or Equivalent Experience.

Work Experience:

At least 4+ years of experience in a related area; familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field; experience providing application and infrastructure support.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs and spread sheets.

Ability to act and learn on own initiative and execute objectives without day-to-day supervision.

Ability to use basic PC operating systems and applications, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, Outlook and Project.

Ability to work well under pressure, make key decisions, and motivate others.

A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Ability to create an engaging and innovative work environment that fosters collaboration among team members, career growth and excellence in achieving operational results.

Occasional travel, possibly international, may be required.
