Job Description:

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Production Management

Manage scheduling operations in Aspire.

Participate in monthly budget-to-actual meetings with CFO.

Manage job site relationships with multiple subcontractors and third parties associated with project site work during all stages.

Ensure that materials purchase list is complete well in advance of need and has been reviewed with the Production Supervisor; ensure all requisite information needed by Production Supervisor is entered in Aspire.

Ensure that materials invoices are entered into Aspire for Landscape Construction and Hardscape projects in partnership with Production Supervisor LC; Bid-Build and Design-Build materials invoices will be entered by the assigned Production Supervisor.

Bidding

Perform all aspects of bidding process, including but not limited to reviewing invitations to bid, pre-site inspections, measuring properties for field estimates, drawing plans, and providing quotes for irrigation, performing quantity take offs for landscaping or maintenance services, preparing estimates and bid proposals.

Develop job essential data including quantity take-offs, material price lists, labor costs per man hour, and equipment to ensure accurate estimates and bids.

Secure and manage suppliers in conjunction with production staff for all products and services the project will require. Negotiate with suppliers to the lowest possible price.

Submit accurate Company bids including all bid forms, bonds or other requested bid proposal forms thoroughly and on time to meet deadlines of requesting party.

Project Management

Pre-Installation/Service: review contracts, create field project folder to contain new job information for crew, confirm subcontracts and vendor orders, secure Payment & Performance bonds, when necessary, provide submittals, both physical and digital, as required by customer.

Assist with job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting, and job costing.

Interpret design/drawings for craft workers installing material to ensure specifications are followed.

Understands design "buildability" to ensure that landscape designs meet client requirements, achieve optimum value for the client, and can meet quality expectations.?

Research and recommend resolutions using RFI process to anticipate problems, conflicts, interference, and errors in landscape and irrigation plans.

Provide technical support and direction regarding project material controls including delivery dates, construction schedules, and design requirements to ensure additional costs are minimized.

Prepare relevant backup, both written and pictorial to support construction work, change orders, and estimates to meet changing job requirements.

Participate in monthly project billings and lien waivers using AIA Pay App forms and other necessary forms and submit using prescribed method used by customer.

Frequent customer contact to discuss project and make changes/corrections as needed.

Meet onsite with Production Supervisor daily (complex projects) or as-needed (med to small projects) during active work to ensure performance-to-specification, meet with client representatives, and monitor production timeline

Sales Support

Support Sales by providing Estimator service to Sales Representatives for Bid/Build, Design/Build, and Hardscape Opportunities. This includes all Project Management duties described above except for Customer communication and invoicing.

Support Sales by providing Project Manager service to Sales Representatives for Opportunities that are won and are produced by the Landscape Construction team. This includes all Project Management duties described above ensuring that materials lists are current and available to Production Supervisor and that the work is completed to specification; to achieve this, the Project Manager will respond to any design/install concerns that arise on the job site during the project and suggest solutions to the Sales Representatives. The Project Manager will assist with the development of estimates for any Change Orders emanating from discussions between Sales Representatives and Client and provide estimates and proposals to the Sales Representatives for approval by the Customer.

Represent Company at various events, organizations, and associations for the purpose of building relationships that lead to new business.

Develop landscape construction community networks with general contractors, vendors, and suppliers to enhance the public image and brand of the Company.

Operational Policies and Procedures

Develop policies and procedures in collaboration with Human Resources, and Training.?
