Job Description: It is the responsibility of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst to plan, develop, and monitor behavioral support services to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder as well as other behavioral disorders, all utilizing the science of Applied Behavioral Analytics.Schedule Details: Full-Time and Part-Time AvailabilityLocation: Kennett Square, PAProgram: IBHS (Intensive Behavioral Health Services)Pay Rate: $42 /hourJob Functions:
Knowledge of and the ability to follow agency policies and procedures to carry out the care and treatment of clients and the supervision of other staff
Implement clinical service delivery goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/procedures
Ability to maintain effective and efficient communication with direct supervisor
Report to direct supervisor, and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive manner
Complete other responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor
Ability to maintain personal compliance with all training requirements and personnel documentation standards
Knowledge of all laws, regulations, contractual requirements, and agency policies and procedures governing the services performed
Provide clinical, mobile service delivery as defined by the program description, and best practice standards and in full compliance with licensure standards
Collect outcome data (i.e., CBCL or ATEC) for all clients at times of service re-authorization
Knowledge of the standards and ethical principles of the best practice of behavioral healthcare relevant to the program
Provide quality mobile services based on established best practice principles of care
Maintain quality documentation of clinical service delivery
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, agency personnel, and the general public
Maintain professional relationships with clients, payers, and community support service representatives
Ability to work within a group to develop internal systems to improve or ensure quality services
Participate in agency committees to develop and implement program/service enhancement
Ability to provide the full provision of clinically indicated services and the supporting documentation
Provide all authorized client services and provide supporting documentation for re-authorizations, as necessary, in a timely manner.
Submit accurate and timely payroll and billing documentation
Knowledge of the principles and implementation of conducting a functional behavioral assessment
Conduct functional behavioral assessments of all new IBHS clients on his/her caseload
Knowledge of the principles and implementation of completing a behavior management plan
Develop and oversee of implementation of behavior management plans
Provide crisis assessment and behavioral stabilization services as necessary
Provide clinical supervision and case consultation to BHTs, BHT-ABAs, and RBTs providing services on all shared cases and for other staff as required by the Coordinator
Provide clinical consultation to parents, extended family, teachers, and other adult caregivers regarding prescribed behavioral interventions
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including but not limited to progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
Provide the prescribing psychologist with complete, accurate, and timely information regarding the frequency, intensity, and duration of both target behaviors and prescribed replacement behaviors
Participate in all required individual and peer supervision, as well as all applicable program staff meetings
Provide training, supervision, and chart reviews as needed
Oversee and train qualified BHTs, BHT-ABAs, and RBTs seeking further certification
Provide oversight to individuals engaging in the 40-hour coursework to obtain additional certification.
Conduct agency training for BHTs, BHT-ABAs, and RBTs to prepare for their RBT competency assessment.
Supervise individuals seeking their BCBA certification
Provide weekly/bi-weekly supervision to an identified individual who is in need of supervision towards their 1500 hours to take their BCBA exam
Minimum Requirements:Education: Master's degree in a clinical discipline (i.e., clinical or counseling psychology, clinical social work, applied behavior analysis).Licensure/Certification: Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). PA State Behavior Specialist License, or LCSW, LPC, or LMFT required.Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and ExperienceWhat's in it for you?
