TRIO - Student Support Services on the ASU-Beebe campus is seeking a part-time professional tutor for as many as twenty-nine (29) hours for the 2024-2025 academic year. Student Support Services tutors work one-on-one with students in a classroom setting.
The successful candidate must be able to tutor English and Literature. The tutor's main responsibility is to support the process of students learning content taught by their instructor. English tutor will assist students with grammar, communication, and writing. Compensation ranges from $11 - $16 per hour, depending on tutoring experience/degree
Candidate must have completed subject areas with a "B" or better.
$11.00 - $16.00 per hour depending on tutoring experience/degree
This position will be subject to a pre-employment criminal, sex-offender registry background check. In cases where pre-determined, an additional financial/credit history/ background check may be required as well. Convictions that have been sealed or legally eradicated and misdemeanor convictions for which probation was completed and the case was dismissed, will be excluded. Disclosure does not constitute an automatic bar to employment. Factors such as dates of the offense, seriousness and nature of the violation, rehabilitation and position applied for will be taken into account.
