Dura-Line is hiring for an analytical & experienced Regional North American EHSS Manager (Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability) for our western region facilites that will direct jurisdictional requirements on governance, company EHSS policy and standards, and oversee EHS initiatives within the United States and Canada. This is a critical role that will design, develop, and implement location-specific EHSS programs, policies, and best management practices. You will direct and guide corporate initiatives, processes, and goals within safety & health, environment, sustainability, and security at the designated manufacturing plants.

As a strategic & proactive leader, you will be responsible for Year over Year improvement of compliance at the sites & achievement of Orbia ESG initiatives, reduction in injury, and improvement of sustainable efforts to achieve zero waste to landfill initiative. As the subject matter expert with outstanding leadership & communication skills, you will get a chance to travel to the different North America Manufacturing sites to mentor and coach Site EHSS Representatives. You will bring your experience in EHSS jurisdictional requirements on governance and oversight and provide regulatory knowledge, technical expertise, and best practices on EHS management systems to the local teams.

What else will you be doing?


  • Manage regional EHSS jurisdictional requirements on governance and oversight while managing and driving corrective actions for designated locations
  • Assist with EHSS facility audits to ensure compliance with internal, Federal, State, and ISO 14001 & 45001. You will also assist with regional auditing of EHSS compliance, and management systems (internal and external), to ensure they follow company EHSS policy and standards
  • Develop EHS reports, corrective action plans, provide user training and guidance in the use of the EHSS Management system, and continue efforts in the event of investigation and injury reduction through the hierarchy of controls.
  • Verify and ensure compliance with company and governmental safety and environmental program requirements through inspection, risk assessments, site audits, and evaluation of the environment/facility, equipment, and processes in work areas
  • Gather data & analyze injury reports, incident investigations, worker's compensation & market trends, and perform root cause analysis, research sustainable corrective actions opportunities, and execute an action planning to prevent future/repeated incidents across the company

What do you need to hit the ground running?


  • Currently reside in the western region of the US, helpig to facilitate travel to our western region manufacturing facilities.
  • 8+ years of Hands-on experience overseeing, developing, implementing, and improving existing company EHSS programs policies, systems, and processes to ensure governmental and company compliance and create new programs that drive EHS excellence
  • This role requires a bachelor's degree in a Safety, Environmental, Engineering, business, or related discipline or equivalent hands-on EHSS work experience in an industrial/manufacturing work environment. Relevant EHS certifications/training like GSP/ASP/CSP is preferred
  • Must have basic knowledge of environmental & safety laws requirements within the United States and Canada to include ISO experience 14000, 9000, and 45000
  • Must be Aware of federal compliance OSHA/EPA and CCOHS/CEPA regulations and standards, SWPPP, EPCRA, EPA TIER II, basic industrial hygiene, conservation program, sustainability efforts, waste reduction
  • Must have strong project management experience as you will lead EHS and sustainability teams regionally and manage/implement successful EHSS programs and initiatives
