What does a Geek Squad City General Manager do?

The Geek Squad City General Manager will directly plan, establish strategy, direct and manage an assigned Team within Geek Squad City. This leader is responsible for the execution of all strategies required to efficiently run their assigned Department in partnership with the broader business groups (retail, Geek Squad City, field services). This leader will also be responsible for enhancing the employee experience and engagement through our core values while driving operational efficiency, inventory integrity, financial accountability, achieving maximum productivity while maintaining cost controls, and growing the business in an effort to support converging technologies and maximize results that positively impact profits.

This role is responsible for hiring and managing the performance of the team’s Assistant Manager level leaders, talent and development planning, talent implication gap management in relation to the strategic business plan and succession planning while executing on all Leadership Expectations. This leader is responsible for the execution of all part service repair strategies in partnership with internal and external parts vendors and support of retail and field services employees.

What are the Professional Requirements of a Geek Squad City General Manager?
Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• 4 years of P&L Management experience


• 4 years of Management experience

Preferred Requirements:

• Associate Degree (2 year) or higher in Business, Sales or related field


• 4 years of Service repair management experience
