The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $83,324- $104,756

JOB SUMMARY:



Responsible for the overall, efficient operations of the Operating Company warehouses and supervision of storekeepers.



MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages the daily activities of the storerooms and staff by developing and enforcing procedures, ensuring adequate coverage, and coordinating adequate training to meet the needs of the customer.


Develops and maintains an excellent working relationship with the inventory planners, operations, engineering, the bargaining unit, and other groups as needed to support the customer. Participates in the development of performance measures for inventory levels and warehouse service. Maintains high level of inventory accuracy.


Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, budget adherence, regulatory compliance, reporting on measures, and supporting the company's safety goals.


Maintain a working knowledge of the materials management system and have the ability to identify and work to resolve any system issues or concerns.



JOB REQUIREMENTS:




Required Education:

Bachelors degree is strongly desired but not required.



Skills/Abilities:

- Strong Supervisory skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Work planning and management skills.
- Problem resolution and strong analytical skills.
- Have the ability to work independently.



Experience/Training:

At least 4 years of supervisory experience, preferably in warehouse management.
- Knowledge of utility operations.
- Extensive knowledge of logistics, warehousing, inventory and distribution methodologies.
- Working knowledge of PCs and mainframe applications.



Certifications:

C.P.M., APICS, MMIS or working toward achievement is desired but not required.
