Minimum Qualifications:
Excellent attendance
Work at heights of up to 25 feet
Work in elevated positions on tufting machines
Reading ,writing ,and math skills
Basic knowledge of tool types and uses
Identify and repair any tufting related defects
Understanding of basic mechanical operation of a tufting machine
Mechanical aptitude
Move and lift up to 50 pounds several times during the shift
Have a positive attitude
Must be a safety minded individual that puts safety first
Must be able to work well with others and take instructions
Must be a self-motivated
Job Tasks:
Basic Knowledge of creeling responsibilities
Basic Knowledge/experience of machine operator responsibility
Experience in using tools
Ability to order machine parts
Assist on other shifts as needed
Assist lead mechanic as needed
CANDIDATES ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE THESE JOB FUNCTIONS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS JOB.
The candidate awarded the Tufting Mechanic II position shall serve a 90 day probationary period in this position.
