Volt is immediately hiring for Press Operators in Visalia, CA.
This is a temp to hire opportunity
Shifts Available:
2nd Shift 4pm-12am (Subject to Overtime)
3rd shift 12am-8am (Subject to Overtime)
As a Press Operator you will:
Perform all job setups as required
Load and unload anilox rolls and plate cylinders
Ensure printing plates are in proper order
Register print
Match color using computer and by eye
Load and unload paper rolls
Check print quality a minimum of twice per mill roll
Complete all necessary paperwork
Check pH and viscosity as necessary
Ensure doctor blades are in working order
Check template (blanks) with eye marks and color
Transfer inks to press
Return unused ink to ink room
Prep Comco cutting die
Troubleshoots & builds cutting dies
Clean press when job is complete
Clean all hoses, buckets, and pans
Clean anilox rolls and micro blast machine
Perform general housekeeping
Grease and lube as required by check off log
Replace doctor blades as necessary
This is a full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
2+ years of recent press operator machine experience
Experience using a tape measure - 7Q
Open availability to work Overtime/Weekends
Ability using computer, label printer, standard tools (Allen wrench, plyers, etc.), Cutting knife, cutting gloves, paper, pen
Pay Rate:$17.00 - $17.40 per hour
