We are looking for a highly experienced Bookkeeper. The right candidate for this role will have solid core bookkeeping experience as well as the ability to assist with office administrative and professional tasks.
Responsibilities
Manage AR & AP
Collect, deposit and record payment from clients
Manage a monthly collection process
Research, track and resolve any client account issues
Enter credit card and bank transactions
Reconcile credit card and bank statements
Prepare 1099s for the firm and clients
Prepare accurate monthly financial reports
Special projects as needed to support the professional staff and Partner group
Assist with office operations, including workstation setup, inventory of office equipment, coordinating activities and special projects
Support tax and audit professionals on occasion, including tax return assembly and transaction testing
Answer phone and cover daily duties when receptionist is out
Minimum requirements:
5+ years' experience in bookkeeping
Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop and Online), Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work with a high level of accuracy, be detail oriented and organized
Excellent oral/written communication skills, time management & multitasking skills
Shows initiative, takes ownership of tasks, is resourceful in problem solving and recommending solutions
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced working environment, assist where needed, and work independently
Salary $28-35 DOE
