POSITION SUMMARY

The Material Handler 1 is responsible for performing all Material Handling job functions within the Warehouse. Job description includes all Material Handling responsibilities for Manufacturing support, assisting in the Daily Cycle Count Program, attaining a forklift certification as well as assisting in department audits, special projects and additional tasks as required by management.



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES



In order of importance, list the primary responsibilities critical to the performance of the position. For Staff positions, focus on essential responsibilities that highlight accountability and level of judgment required.


  • Complete all assigned daily tasks

  • Forklift Certification required.

  • Pulls Materials for Manufacturing support in an accurate, timely manner and assists Supervisor with Department issues/material shortages. Assists co-workers to accomplish all daily tasks.

  • Performs SAP transactions on a daily basis and assists co-workers in completing all necessary SAP functions.

  • Assists in the daily Cycle Count Program.

  • Assists in Internal/External Cycle Count Audits.

  • Ensure compliance with Zoetis policies and procedures, ethical practices and adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of colleagues and management across organizational boundaries. Candidate must possess flexibility and ability to respond to constantly changing conditions and priorities.




EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



Indicate the formal education, certification or license required and/or preferred. Include the minimum number of years of relevant experience required for the position.


  • Experience with ERP Systems required, SAP experience preferred.

  • Material Handling experience in diagnostics or medical device fields preferred.

  • Forklift operations required (Certification Training available).

Include skills and knowledge essential to perform the position.

  • Microsoft Office skills required

  • Required to handle temperature sensitive product in compliance under a Regulatory Environment

Physical Requirements



  • Must remain Drug-Free. (Drug screening completed prior to starting)

  • Able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.

Base Pay Range: $17.40 - $26.70
