Who are we looking for?

Senior resource having good hands-on experience on Ruby/Selenium coding experience. Should be able to guide the team on both ATDD Processes and Technical implementation along with Design/enhance the automation framework

Technical Skills:

Test Automation experience of at least 5-7 years using Selenium/Ruby/Cucumber

Hands-on Experience performing cross-browser testing using Selenium Grid

Must have ATDD implementation experience for web applications with technical knowledge in;

o Selenium/Ruby programing language (not Ruby on rails)

o Gherkins and any automation parser like Cucumber/JBehave etc.

o Watir/Selenium web driver

Experience in automation of Mobile web applications preferred.

Experience in API Manual/Automation testing

Quick Learner and Self driven leader

Experience on Atlassian tools like JIRA, Zephyr, Zapi, Confluence etc.

Good knowledge on various Ruby Gems

Service Virtualization using Wiremock preferred

Strong experience with coding standards around test automation, primarily Selenium/Ruby/Cucumber.

Exposure to Java, Selenium, Java Script would be an added advantage

Experience in different automation frameworks and design pattern including Page-Object design pattern

Good knowledge in creating Class and Modules and their effective usages

Good to have capability to develop custom Gems.

Process Skills:

Experience on ATDD and BDD concepts. Working experience on the same is preferred

Experience with Agile projects

Behavioral Skills :

Excellent communication skills

Experience Coaching the team on Ruby, ATDD & preferably agile practices

To be able to fit in as a team member as well as an individual contribution since the role requires very close coordination with the team as well as perform POCs to come up with new implementation as an individual

The project is for a US based capital markets client and the team is working on building high-end technology solutions and development practice of ATDD along with the latest on Test Automation and Devops.

Certification:

ISTQB or ISTQB Advanced level Test Automation certificate
