Job Summary

As Enterprise Product Manager for The Standard’s Data and Analytics organization, you will play a key role in envisioning and evolving our enterprise data space and empowering cross-organizational initiatives and teams with data-powered assets and capabilities. You'll be responsible for driving data as a product and a set of services, roadmap development, and execution to unlock the power of our data and deliver transformative solutions and insights for our business and our customers.

  • Prioritize enterprise product initiatives, develop a comprehensive product strategy, and manage the product roadmap aligning with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct user research and gather stakeholder input to identify key data needs and opportunities. Understand the needs and pain points of various user groups when it comes to data access and utilization.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineering, data science & AI, analytics, and business stakeholders to ensure successful product development and adoption. In collaboration with product owners, define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for data-enabled features and services for the enterprise. Track and measure product success metrics, including adoption, usage, and business impact.
  • Own the evangelism and awareness of enterprise data & analytics capabilities, training, culture empowerment, and documentation. Stay current on the latest trends in the evolving data management space.
  • Launch platform capabilities to leverage the enterprise data & analytics “ecosystem” at scale, aligned with organizational direction.

Skills and Background You’ll Need

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on enterprise data products or platforms (e.g., Data Lakes, Data Warehouses). Experience working with Databricks or similar cloud-based data platforms is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing data-driven products and services. Passion for data and its potential to empower teams and organizations.
  • Strong understanding of overall data architecture and data management concepts.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Deep understanding of the group insurance and asset management industry preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Data-driven decision making with a focus on business impact.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with data governance & data security best practice, experience with data visualization tools, and experience with machine learning & artificial intelligence concepts are all preferred.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.

  • Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

$130,750.00 - $222,250.00
