Responsibilities
As our General Manager – you will report directly to the President of DF&H (Diversified Food & Health) North America.
Financial Acumen
P&L management experience at or above $60M level
Experience in setting objectives and achieving goals
Able to interpret Company financial reports
Makes data based strategic decisions
Able to perform project appraisals
Assess and manages the key drivers of performance and shareholder value
Understands cash flows, and responsible for managing process and activities that impact working capital
Customers & Markets
Heavy commercial component to this role. Frequent customer participation partnering with sales team members in selling Packaging equipment and services while working with the team to close business within the sales pipeline
Maintain a focus on Sales Operations best practices to relentlessly drive continuous process improvements
Uses new technology applications to catch market trends
Takes ownership of customer problems. Constantly questions “how will this benefit the customer?”
Seeks customer feedback to investigate ways to improve customer experience and new product development
Able to manage and work effectively with all kinds and classes of people equitably regardless of races, nationalities, cultures, disabilities, ages, and genders

Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing or a related field
MBA is preferred
Five or more years of P&L leadership experience
Three or more years of experience & demonstrated results in leading global, industrial product and sales and service teams in a technology-driven manufacturing or capital equipment environment
Track record in innovation as well as creating non-bureaucratic, effective sales processes that operationalize and link product management efforts to sales teams that result in profitable growth above market growth rates
Excellent executive presence coupled with a “roll your sleeves up” and low-ego approach to getting results
Exceptional communication and persuasion competency required
Business acumen. The successful candidate will be known by others to have genuine intellectual curiosity about business
Significant learning agility with the ability to grow into more senior executive level positions ie VP/GM
Role model competency in developing trust relationships of respect with General Managers and leveraging them to create opportunities and drive profitable growth
Ability to manage multiple and different types of priorities effectively
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
Travel is anticipated to be up to ~25%
This role must be located in the Richmond, Virginia area and will require on-site presence
