Quality Specialist job in Kent, Washington is available with Moseley Technical Services top Space company. In this job you will support the quality initiatives around flight hardware and engine production directly impacting the history of space exploration
Responsibilities:
Support quality initiatives around flight hardware and engine production
Provide training and assistance to team members in quality acceptance processes, procedures, and tools
Perform inspections of internal flight hardware
Support the review and inspection of supplier related hardware
Document First Article Inspection Reports for internally produced hardware
Monitor SPC activities as necessary
Conduct process health assessments and internal audits for compliance with industry standards and provide ongoing objective evaluations of processes and documentation
Conduct follow-up and compliance audits to ensure process improvement and corrective / preventive action implementation and effectiveness
Required Qualifications:
2+ years' of quality inspection experience in a rocket engine production environment
Relevant experience in a start-up environment, transitioning a product from development, through production to operations
Relevant experience in AS9145, Advanced Product Quality Planning and Production Part Approval Process
