Position Summary: We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for the day shift on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing the highest quality of care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments.
Assess and monitor residents' health status, reporting any changes to the physician and family members.
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care and medical records.
Supervise and support nursing assistants and other support staff.
Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in nursing care.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the CA.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting.
Strong clinical skills and the ability to handle complex medical situations.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
