Position Summary: We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Dietary Aide to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality service and contributing to the well-being of our residents through excellent nutrition and dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to residents.
Ensure meals are prepared according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.
Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
Assist in the setup and cleanup of dining areas before and after meals.
Monitor and restock supplies as needed.
Collaborate with dietary staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Provide friendly and courteous service to residents, addressing any dietary concerns or requests.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a dietary or food service role is preferred.
Knowledge of basic food preparation and kitchen safety practices.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to service.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
