Job Description:

Overview:



This position is responsible for performing audits on turn-key sourced, attributed, and manufactured products. The Quality Supervisor will organize the audit list to be performed. Makes sure audits are completed in a timely manner. Communicates with inventory control and leadership team when audits are completed and ready to release to stock. Coordinates and performs 100% inspections on failures and communicates findings.


Weekly Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM


Hourly rate starts at $15.00 / hr



Primary Responsibilities:



  • Performs Final Audit inspections on attributed and Sublimated orders; reviews artwork against Infor data, documents findings, communicates with the Production Supervisors if concerns are discovered, and makes repairs as needed.

  • Ensures "HOT" shipments and air shipments are done the same day and making sure regular audits are completed within a timely manner.

  • Rearranging schedule as needed for unexpected "Hot" shipments.

  • Takes corrective actions to eliminate nonconforming products from reaching our inventory at the direction of the Quality Supervisor.

  • Investigate inventory for quality issues on returns.

  • Performs 100% inspections; documents findings, the repairs taken, and results.

  • Shares audit result information and samples with the Quality Supervisor.

  • Timely reporting of the outcome from all product inspections to identify quality concerns.

  • Communicates findings and provides any additional information needed, such as shades of current inventory.

  • Provides updates to the inventory supervisor; sends audit release information; makes sure audits are released in a timely manner; and sends failed audit information to Quality Supervisor.

  • Measure and inspect fit kits upon arrival to confirm accuracy of fit prior to releasing to inventory.

  • Shares monthly quality data with appropriate leadership members.

  • Maintains style files, run cards, and color standards.

  • Keeps files and documents up to date with the correct data.

  • Replaces standards (TOPs) as needed and keeps TOP document updated

  • Maintains a tidy and neat audit site.

  • Manage fabric books in the Quality office and the already distributed books to the three production departments.

  • Manages current standard fabric books per region, replaces standards as needed, and obtains new standards from Product Development.




Qualifications:



  • High school education or equivalent required

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Ability to work with limited supervision, highly self-motivated

  • Must be able to follow technical specifications and measure garments for conformance.

  • Must be able to recognize nonconformance to approved samples, as related to construction and appearance.
