WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER

The Trustee Liaison/Development Coordinator provides a full range of support to the Idaho Chapter of The Nature Conservancy's Board of Trustees and Development Program. They will work closely with the State Director and Executive Leadership Team on logistics and execution of three board meetings annually and other Trustee events and committee meetings. They will lead organization of and communications with the Board of Trustees and take and create notes at all meetings. They will coordinate activities with multiple variables, setting realistic deadlines and managing timelines. They will work closely with the Development Director and State Director on high-level chapter logistics, execution of important meetings, including donors, trustees, committee members and partners. They will also coordinate communications and take notes and/or minutes at meetings.

They will be responsible for various activities in support of the chapter's fundraising efforts, including drafting correspondence and acknowledgements, assisting donors with asset transfer, scheduling, and coordinating logistics of meetings and follow-up especially with donor prospects and trustees and the planning and coordination of special events. They may provide program information to prospects and donors and assist with writing development publications and proposals.

The Trustee Liaison/Development Coordinator will have substantial contact with donors, trustees, staff and legal and financial professionals. They will be responsible for a variety of general administrative support tasks, which include domestic and international travel arrangements, calendar management, processing expenses, and answering phones.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience or equivalent combination.
  • Experience generating reports and interpreting data.
  • Experience in business writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Experience organizing time and managing diverse activities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience working across teams and communicating with a wide range of people.

SALARY INFORMATION

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $55,000 - $58,000 for annual base salary. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. Where a successful candidate's actual pay will fall within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including, for example, the candidate's location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. Please note countries outside the USA would have a different pay range in the local currency based on the local labor market, and not tied to USA pay or ranges. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment.
