We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software Developer Data Management II to support Information Technology analytics and reporting needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence, with specific experience in Power BI, Power Automate and Snowflake data warehouse.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Engages in independent Self-direction; must be able to fulfill the responsibilities of the position with little or no supervision; assesses priorities and changing needs and directs other accordingly.
Provides analytic information/assumptions that are accurate.
Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports in Power BI.
Manage and optimize data retrieval from our Snowflake data warehouse.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
Design, build, and deploy BI solutions that enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting and analytics activities.
Provide training and support to users on new reports and dashboards.
Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in BI and data analytics.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a BI analyst or report writer role.
Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
Experience with Snowflake data warehouse and its ecosystem.
Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications in Power BI or Snowflake. (preferred)
Experience with additional BI tools and databases. (preferred)
Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices. (preferred)
