Job Description:

Lynden Incorporated is seeking a Network Administrator to work as part of our SeaTac based team.  In this role, you will deploy, develop, maintain and support network infrastructure across 90+locations and 2 data centers. This position is not safety sensitive.

What you will be doing:


  • Work with various teams and vendors to develop network strategies and technology roadmaps.

  • Responsible for network design, installation, performance, reliability, and disaster recovery.

  • Participate in disaster recovery planning. Lead recovery efforts for the systems you are responsible for.

  • Provide deep subject matter expertise and technical leadership.Mentor junior technical staff.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for product, process, and system improvement adoption as appropriate.

  • Contribute to the development of the technical strategy.

  • Lead large projects which often take 2 to 6 months to complete.

  • Provide network and voice infrastructure support for new offices, relocations, and closures.

  • Coordinate MPLS, internet, and voice service installations, upgrades, and disconnects.

  • Design, install, optimize, and troubleshoot complex 802.11 wireless networks in large scale corporate, warehouse, and shipping terminal environments.

  • Lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, use hand tools, pull cable and work in tight spaces, under desks, in comm rooms, etc.

  • Prioritize and respond to support requests and outages.

What we need from you (minimum requirements):


  • 5 years’ related experiencein designing, building, and supporting large-scale enterprise networks.

  • 5 years’ experience with Fortinet, FortiGate firewalls.

  • 2+ years of experience with BGP and OSPF configuration and troubleshooting.

  • Working knowledge of core switching technologies (Cisco NXOS, Port-channels, HSRP and FEX).

  • Working knowledge and experience with IEEE 802.11 wireless systems.

  • Basic knowledge of enterprise VoIP telephony systems.

  • Basic knowledge of Windows server administration.

  • Valid driver’s license and personal transportation.

Preference if you also have:


  • Professional level certifications such as Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE 4, Juniper JNCIS-ENT, and Aruba ACMA.

  • Configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco routers and switches, Juniper switches, FortiWeb firewalls, Aruba and Ruckus access points, Mitel Unified Communications systems.

Your work schedule: 


  • This is a hybrid position, 3 days per week in office after training period.

  • On call rotation:  1 week, every 6 weeks to support after hours and weekend calls.

  • Occasionally may be required to work hours outside the normal schedule.
