LOCATION - WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS - NEEDTO BE ON-SITE 5 DAYS A WEEK

Role description:

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of construction projects for an Arcadis client within Williamstown, MASS. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our project and make a significant impact with our client's project. This role would be well suited for experienced Project Manager who has successfully worked with educational construction projects.

Role accountabilities:

In this position, the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing on-site projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for the completion of projects from preconstruction to hand over, playing a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered within scope, budget, and schedule while meeting quality standards and complying with state and local requirements.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Deep technical knowledge focused on construction projects that include building system renewals and interior renovations
  • Present on-site to handle questions from stakeholders to contracted vendors and suppliers
  • Strong stakeholder management skills that include expert communication skills, written and verbal
  • Capital planning and financial reporting on projects assigned
  • Manage work in compliance with state and local requirements
  • Review contractor schedules and progress
  • Experience with project master schedules, budgets and cost estimates

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience with an architectural, construction management, or facilities team within the public or education buildings sector
  • Experience in all project phases: planning, preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning & validation
  • Strong software skills: Procore, MS Project, Excel, etc.
  • Minimum 5 years of on-site experience
  • Strong belief in Health and Safety on the site

We offer nine paid holidays and 20 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $94,760 to $142,140 per year.
