Job Description:

Substance Testing Program (STP) & Transportation Supervisor
$75-85k Annually
On-site in Burbank, CA


Primary Responsibilities:
Maintains confidentiality at all times.
Oversees daily operation of the Substance Testing Program.
Ensures compliance with government and regulatory agencies such as: DOT, FMCSA, DMV, CHP, FCRA, etc.
Evaluates, creates, and updates STP procedures, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
Structures STP staff workflows to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
Engages with staff to communicate department and company goals, provide training, and assist with questions, troubleshooting, suggestions, etc.
Reviews and approves staff time-off requests and timecards, escalating any issues to STP Associate Manager
Identifies additional customer training opportunities and staff training requirements and ensures development and implementation of training materials.
Conducts one-on-one meetings with staff to identify areas of concern, suggestions for improvement, and to tailor-make a personalized growth and development plan for each staff member.
Performs random drug and alcohol testing selections, in accordance with current DOT-FMCSA regulations and company policies.
Oversees follow-up testing program schedules and requirements, in compliance with current DOT-FMCSA regulations and policies.
Compiles and reviews semi-annual and annual consortium Management Information System (MIS) reports of testing program numbers in compliance with DOT-FMCSA regulations.
Finalizes STP-specific billing items processed by STP Coordinator and approves for payment.
Assists employers with DOT audit process.
Informs STP Associate Manager of department status, including areas of concern or items in need of correction pre-emptively or when they are discovered, as well as accomplishments, exemplary performance by staff, and other successes.
