Position Title: Administrative Assistant 2 (Temporary, Part-Time, up to 19.5 hours per week)
Department: Northwest Campus - Faculty Services & Resource Center
Rate of Pay: $18.08/hour
Closed Date: July 15, 2024; 5:00PM Arizona Time
Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant 2 provides advanced service excellence and support to faculty that include obtaining and communicating information about instructional support processes and basic technology assistance.
This position works in close collaboration with a team to perform administrative and customer service functions for the assigned department and may provide a variety of information to the College community and the public.
This position is in-person at Northwest Campus and will consist of morning shifts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides advanced, high quality, proactive service, and information to support faculty, staff, and students with requests, information, assistance, and support services
- Assists students, staff, and faculty in performing relevant functions to their role and addressing questions
- Interacts with students, staff, and faculty inquiries in-person and via phone calls, email, and virtual assistance tools
- Assists with service desk coverage, confidential copy requests, technology use, learning management system basics, and special projects, as needed
- May order, maintain and distribute instructional supplies and update files, records, or documents as needed
- Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) to three (3) years of related experience providing technology general office support
Or
- An equivalent combination of certification, education, and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above
Preferred:
- Associate degree/Vocational or technical training in office management

Physical Requirements:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a standard office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach , and twist; to lift, carry, push, and or pull light to moderate (up to 20 pounds) amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; may be required to travel to other locations using various modes of private or commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
