This position, in alignment with the mission, values, purpose, and strategic directions of Fox Valley Technical College, performs a wide variety of administrative duties requiring individual responsibility, initiative, and broad knowledge of FVTC's Early College Credit processes. The Specialist also plays a key role in customer service and relationship building efforts with both internal and external customers. This position will collaborate with K-12 Partnerships team members, dual credit instructors and high school teachers in the support of FVTC's Early College Credit Pathway Model.
Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide administrative support to the Manager - K12 Partnerships regarding Early College Credit meetings, events, processes and communications.
Handle inquiries regarding Early College Credit and all K-12 Partnership programs and processes.
Coordinate room scheduling, hospitality, registration and logistics for K-12 Partnerships workshops and events including K12 counselor and high school principal meetings.
Coordinate Dual Credit Summits, including registration, communication with high school teachers and FVTC liaisons, schedule rooms, order hospitality, prepare folders, verify stipends, and submit summit web page request to Marketing.
Coordinate yearly review and updates to the Articulation Guide.
Maintain calendar schedule for Manager of quarterly Early College Credit meetings with Deans and Liaisons and other meetings and events.
Communicate with Dual Credit teachers regarding Dual Credit Academic Calendar dates and deadlines.
After dual credit student registration, confirm dual credit rosters with high school teachers.
Work with high schools to ensure their High School course guides are updated prior to registration dates.
Collaborate with K12 team on yearly planning and process updates/changes.
Support Liaisons with Syllabus collection verification and reminders.
Coordinate logistics for course set up day with K-12 and Academic Operation Specialist team.
Request updates to Early College Credit resources.
Coordinate printing, assemble and mail K-12 kick-off packets to each Dual Credit teacher.
Work with schools to confirm staffing changes and update contact information. Ensure accuracy of High School Directory on FVTC's Intranet.
Assist with Open House set up and assist as needed during each Open House.
Support the development and maintenance of K-12 Partnerships marketing resources.
SECONDARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Support Start College Now processes as needed.
Support Enrollment needs in DC classes as needed.
Maintain and order supplies as needed.
Support Dual Credit contract process as needed.
Participate on college and statewide committees, project teams, etc. as appropriate to the role and responsibility of the position.
QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
Associate Degree in related field is required, AND
Two years of recent, related work experience, AND
Intermediate knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required, OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
Additional Information
Hourly pay rate: $20.90 per hour.
Pay is based on a multitude of factors, including experience, qualifications, education, relevant certifications, internal equity, and market data. Note: Internal applicants' wage will be based upon the applicable compensation structure.
