About the Job:



This position works with Alfa Laval's Customer Service, Service Center, and Field Service teams to investigate parts delivery alternatives to meet customer demands. Investigates through Alfa Laval's supply chain systems and inventories to identify options to expedite parts. Interactively works with Alfa Laval's Advanced Technical Service team to identify potential product alternatives.

  • Reviews customer PO's and determines product family and parts required to fulfill orders. make sure that the PO and delivery expectations from the customer are clear; that he/she receives everything needed from the logistical team.

  • Reviews product parts on hand from Alfa Laval suppliers to meet customer demands.

  • Confirms availability of parts and projected deliveries

  • Investigates and identifies alternative solutions to meet customer delivery demands.

  • Interacts with other Alfa Laval support teams to identify alternative delivery solutions.

  • Communicates alternative solutions to internal Alfa Laval teams.

  • Pro-actively follows up delivery of expedited items to secure shipment according to the projected dates.

  • Use the learnings from the expedited orders to identify opportunities for improvement to prevent the need for expediting in future orders. This includes regular calls with AMDC and other vendors for the items to be expedited, and to identify opportunities of improvement in the way of working.




What you know:


  • Associate or Bachelor's degree (preferred)

  • Diploma and 3-5 years' experience in similar industry.

  • Recent graduates/ early in career candidates considered.

We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your background, skills, and experience to get it right. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The overall salary range for this role is typically $55,000 to $70,000 base.
