Responsibilities

We are hiring a Senior Study Coordinator for R01MH126821, A Multimodal Parent-Focused Intervention for Vulnerable Populations in the Bronx. This clinical trial investigates the impact of a parent-focused mentalizing intervention and a care-management smartphone app on parents in The Bronx, NY.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with developing IRB study protocols, including amendments and the modification of protocols and informed consent forms as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all IRB requirements and adherence to other relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines.
  • Assist with developing and implementing study specific operating procedures, research tools, and documents.
  • Maintain detailed study records and manage study data and databases.
  • Track progress of the studies, including participant enrollment and attrition.
  • Coordinate study visits with other clinical and research team members and participant recruitment.
  • Provide study-specific training and/or administrative/technical supervision to Research Assistants.
  • Manage study budgets
  • Represent the study at internal and external academic meetings and community events. Act as a liaison to project partners to discuss new procedures that could be implemented.
  • Facilitate the preparation of conference abstracts, oral presentations, and poster presentations, and participate in the development of manuscripts for publication.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 1-3 years related experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes: This position is ideal for candidates looking to pursue graduate education in psychology and have interests in therapeutic interventions, attachment, child development, and family. Highly motivated coordinators will have the opportunity for publication of manuscripts and abstracts and involvement in other research studies at Montefiore Einstein. Ideal candidates will be:

• Skilled in completing assignments with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Able to build rapport with participants and engage them in the research study.

• Skilled in handling large datasets.

• Highly organized, efficient, collaborative, and able to work independently.
