POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Cabinet Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, leading teams, and ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in carpentry or construction, proven leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Provide overall strategic leadership for construction projects within the Carpenter's Building Association (CBA).
    • Develop and implement project plans in alignment with organizational goals.

  • Team Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of foremen, apprentices, and carpenters to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
    • Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and collaboration within the teams.

  • Project Oversight:
    • Oversee multiple construction projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.

  • Carpentry Expertise:
    • Utilize advanced carpentry skills to contribute to project tasks and challenges.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the project teams.

  • Quality Control:
    • Implement and enforce stringent quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction work.

  • Safety Compliance:
    • Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety protocols on all project sites.
    • Conduct regular safety training and promote a strong safety culture.

  • Communication:
    • Effectively communicate project goals, plans, and updates to project teams and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with senior management to provide project status reports.

  • Material Management:
    • Coordinate the procurement, delivery, and use of construction materials on-site.
    • Implement efficient resource allocation and waste reduction measures.

  • Problem Resolution:
    • Address and resolve complex issues, conflicts, and challenges that may arise during construction.
    • Implement strategic solutions to keep projects on track.

  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and challenges.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports for executive leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in carpentry is a plus, or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in carpentry, with a focus on construction projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and construction standards.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
