JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for reconciling inventory adjustments against open vendor invoices for resolve. Invoice discrepancies are to be reviewed, researched, and reconciled to maintain the highest level of vendor payment within the division. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for vetting vendor fees and paying as authorized, divisional problem tickets to reconcile vendor invoice discrepancies, and vendor blocks to assist the Vendor Relations Manager with settlement reconciliation.

Review open vendor invoices and apply inventory discrepancies as appropriate.

Work directly with internal teams (such as Corporate OPS, Inventory Management, Finance, etc.) to provide intermediate level analysis and reporting as necessary.

Analyze report data, identifying issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions. Develop recommendations to solve problems and challenges related to business process deficiencies.

Prepare and provide management with updates for monthly vendor reviews with leadership team and escalate for assistance as needed.

May involve other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor’s degree.

Work Experience

Working knowledge and experience with managing inventory and/or accounting.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities


  • Experience working with financial reconciliation


  • Basic SAP knowledge


  • Analytical Skills


  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).

Work Experience


  • Relative experience working with financial statements. 


  • Relevant experience with Inventory Control displaying a broad understanding of inventory issues and concerns in a warehouse/distribution center or similar facility.


Knowledge / Skills / Abilities


  • Intermediate understanding of CATALYST


  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel 


  • Intermediate SAP knowledge


  • At least 2 years of experience in an analytical role
