ABOUT THE ROLE


We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our agile and growing software development team. REPAY is looking for someone who can contribute to expanding our core payment processing platform and products within the Consumer Finance industry. As part of a small team, you will be considered a subject matter expert and have an immediate and measurable impact on our fast-growing business by helping us reach the next level and stage of growth.



SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED:



• 5+ years of experience with Java development on AWS Cloud technologies


• Proficiency in Spring framework (MVC, Security, and basic IOC) and building APIs for microservices


• Strong understanding of multi-threading and multi-processing in Java


• Proficiency in PostgreSQL or MySQL database management on Linux


• Strong experience with AWS Cloud services like Lambda, EC2, AMI, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, S3, Transfer Family and best practices


• Basic networking knowledge (what are firewalls, subnets, routing tables, NATs, VPNs)


• Knowledge and experience with AWS EKS ( Kubernetes env )


• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Kubernetes


• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Maven or Gradle and Jenkins


• Familiarity with queuing technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, SNS, SQS, REDIS)


• Familiar with developing Web technologies (HTTP, Spring MVC, JQuery, JSTL, HTML, CSS)


• Strong communication and teamwork abilities


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to code quality


• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar
