Compensation: $48,000 -$63,000 / yr (depending on experience)

Overview

As a member of the GAR Team, the Customer Service Representative, verifies and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Work safely and adhere to all safety policies
  • Be an ambassador for the facility, both internally and externally, defining and promoting the facility's position, image and character
  • Verify shipment contents with production, to ensure manifest for loads are correct
  • Provide assistance to the customer for completing manifest and shipping papers
  • Maintain schedule of material for inbound and outbound shipments
  • Provide production with the appropriate information needed
  • Responsible for the overall management, quality and information accuracy of the WFIMS, including, but not limited to, the WTS and LDMS
  • Resolve customer service or billing issues
  • Record shipment data, such as weight, waste codes, container count, and other discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes
  • Prepare Quarterly and Annual regulatory reports
  • Maintain office and production office supplies
  • Ensure the facility operates in a customer-focused atmosphere
  • Principle responsibilities listed are not all encompassing and other duties may be assigned

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Must be reliable, responsible and dependable
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and writing.)
  • Strong computer skills
  • Must be a team player
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening which includes physical, background check, drug screen

Frequent exposure to walking on rocky, irregular surfaces that may be muddy and in reduced lighting conditions, moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, high and/or confined spaces, fumes, airborne particles, outside weather conditions and explosives. Occasionally be able to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) lbs. independently and tolerate moderate noise levels.
