Basic Job Functions:



The basic functions of Maintenance Utility Technician is as follows: (1) Utilization of knowledge and skills to support a plant wide Building & Structural maintenance team including building and component inspections, preventive maintenance, door repair, HVAC, fabrication and construction projects. (2) Participation in a training and development action plan required for continuous improvement and support of the maintenance and production teams. (3) Develop and implement projects for continuous improvement.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
