Nucor Steel Decatur is seeking a leader for the position of Material Handling Day Supervisor. The Day Supervisor will lead the Material Handling's efforts to become the world's safest steel company. This position is an integral member of the Material Handling leadership team and will be responsible for leading the efforts to continually improve our safety, profitability, and team member development. This will include promoting a culture of ownership, engagement, and teamwork working with other departments to ensure consistency and the long-term success of the division.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
