Manufacturing Technician II

Job Description:

The Role:

Our site in Danbury, CT is seeking a Build & Weld Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This person would work as a key member of a small specialty gas production team talking direction from a qualified Technician and reporting directly to the Production Supervisor. The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who enjoys being part of a strong team, is dedicated to continuous improvement, and has some experience safely working with hazardous materials, while maintaining a focus on meeting and exceeding production goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Support new gas cylinder manufacturing, component functionality testing and quality checks.

• Support subassembly manufacturing via orbital welding (training and certification provided onsite).

• Support gas cylinder refurbishment, finished good functionality testing and processing.

• Safely operate powered hand tools, measuring tools, gauges, welding equipment and media blasters.

• Clean and maintain equipment and work areas (5S).

What We Seek:

• High school diploma or GED.

• 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience processing and completing work orders per a production schedule.

• Dedication to safety.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Continuous improvement mindset.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience with Microsoft office.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

• Experience working safely with hazardous materials and using PPE.

• Experienced with SAP.
