Perform various type of testing using chromatographic systems, Karl Fischer (Coulometric and Volumetric), UV/Spec, various wet chemistry analyses, HPLC, IC, IR, ICP, AA, TGP, DSC, PDA, auto-titrators, TLC, and dissolution apparatus
Execute specialized analyses and method transfer and feasibility testing
Perform technical writing
Train staff and be accountable for leading specific project/test areas
Initiate and perform laboratory investigations; evaluate and trend sample data; interpret data
Inform clients of project status continually
Serve as an equipment system administrator
Some travel to client sites for technical meetings could be required
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
Three years related pharmaceutical experience in a cGMP environment
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
